Requirements:

• Live within 10 miles of the TCVFD service area.

• Applicants for Firefighter must be 18 years of age or older and must have a valid driver’s license.

• Applicants for Junior Firefighter must be 15-17 years of age and have written permission from a parent or guardian.

• A state and local background check is necessary to move forward in the application process.

Training

Our firefighters are provided full training in firefighting and rescue skills to respond to emergencies, and our company is stocked with the best firefighting equipment in the area. A regular training schedule is completed over the course of 18 months.​
